Hi all. My 1 year old thought it would be funny to bash my monitor with a hair brush. Sadly I was watching as it happened, helpless as half the screen blacked out.... Looked like a Picasso! Well done boy. So I am finding it harder to choose a new monitor than choosing all the different components of my new PC I just built. This is what I would like after much fruitless research. Firstly, curved 27inch: my eyes love the natural feel. Secondly, IPS: I do a lot of photography and want HDR. Thirdly, 144hz or there abouts, as I game quite a bit. Fourthly, 1-3ms response time(5ms at most) again for gaming. Lastly QHD(2k) as I dislike pixels ( they suck).
My main stumbling block has been the IPS. Plenty of VN panels fit my criteria but perhaps I missed my Goldilocks monitor. Any bears out there who can help.
P.s in a nutshell
27inch curved 2k IPS HDR 144hz + good response. Thank you all and be safe!

It's funny because I used PCPP to build my rig but never considered it for monitor. Thanks for quick reply. It's truly tragic. I feel that it must be coming soon though. Hmmmm. What to do? I have really become used to the curve after more than a year with one. I hope you feel my dilemma.

Thats sweet! Seems the ultra wides have a better ISP range. I do work on Sibelius and often need two or even three windows open. It might be a case of too poor to buy cheap. If the LG ends up on my desk I'll let you know.

The LG must look awesome. It seems monitors stagnated for a while. Maybe C19 or something but its good to see some good gear coming out to suit the gpu's we run. I guess I still need to compromise or spend big.

Hi to any stragglers seeing this post. I ended up with a Dell 32in curved 2k.
Model S3220DGF. It's awesome , although HRD is giving me some issues and build quality could be better I think.
Thanks all.
