please tell me if there is anything wrong with this build. it looks like everything is compatible. it says estimated wattage is like 338 but the gpu requires a 500+ watt power supply. heres the link

also. idk if the gpu will fit on this board. look closely at the pci 3.0 slot. idk if the gpu will interfere with the ram(not work). like i said the site says everything is compatible but still idk about the whole "will my card fit here with no problems" thing lol

thanks

If you are using the stock cooler there is no reason to get aftermarket thermal paste, get a dual channel memory kit instead of a single stick that is 1600mhz with a cas latency of 9, you can get a much better case for $100. You do not want to use the power supply that comes with that case, it is a time bomb waiting to destroy your components.

Everything sounds ok except for the RAM you chose, for that price I am sure you can find something 1866MHz which will give you a couple fps's more.

Also the GPU shouldn't interfear with the RAM, you will be OK

P.S. Why the thermal paste? That's unecessary.

sorry i thought that you need to always apply thermal paste to the cpu

to be honest this looks awesome! like i would of never thought of this! my question tho is: the gpu requires a power supply of 500 watts. so like what if im gaming and it goes over 550w?? im not judging what u built on the site im just asking cause i dont know much about this stuff.

500 watts is the recommended wattage of the power supply that will be running it, not the wattage that it will be drawing. So with that GPU you will be fine and even have a little overhead to learn to overclock. Cause you can take that chip to 3.9-4.0 on the stock cooler. Does that make sense?

The stock cooler comes with thermal paste pre-applied. Also, most after-market cooler either come with it pre-applied or they come with a little tube of it so you can applied it yourself.
I've build now over 20 builds from the ground up and needed exactly 1 tube, once, for a weird cooler that didn't had one.

hmmmm.. yeah it does. thanks

alright guys srry to keep changing this but today i went to TRY and make the build alittle cheaper and well the price came out similiar but a little more since i added some things i actually needed. this should be my final decision. heres the links and srry for the change.

now this is what makes me feel like this is wrong: if you notice the case,, the power supply goes at the top, but there is no vent at the top, and on the power supply there is a fan at the top. so thats the only thing confusing me is the power supply and case.

thanks guys
