Question pls help

i had replaced my old components now i installed

asus a320m-f
ryzen 5 2600
8gb ddr4 2133mhz
gtx 1060 6gb

and when i installed mobo, cpu and ram i accidently run a cpu without a cooler and it started spining fans but no signal nor post screen


and the question is did i damage cpu i turned it off 10 seconds after i noticed and will it fix when i install cooler?

If it was 10secs, then no you didn't damage anything. You should ofc place active cooling on the CPU in order to move forward. You did forget to mention the make, model and age of the PSU in your build.

Many systems will NOT run without a CPU fan of some sort.

I tried with random fan connecting to cpu fan place but that didn’t work

i'm assuming you mean the 2600?

if you have a working 4pin PWM fan connected to the CPU_FAN header and there's still no response then something has failed, something isn't installed properly, or this system is just not compatible in it's current state.

if i start pc without a cooler could that be the problem

it could lead to damage but there should be safety measures in place to shutdown the system upon reaching dangerous temperatures.

are all components previously used?
all verified working?

have you updated this motherboard BIOS to the necessary iteration to support this CPU?

have you verified the memory kit is listed in the motherboard QVL?

yes cpu is 2600

I installed 3 pin fan i dont have 4 pin connector

ram memory is brand new, motherboard and cpu have been used but tested before sending to my by seller, fully working, also seller said motherboard is updated to latest version

1) i did connect cpu connector 4 pin one on upper left side

2) i didnt install stand offs cuz there werent any on previous motherboard

3) graphics card is fully seated i tried both gtx 750 and gtx 1060 i have and they had additional 6 pin so its plugged

4) i properly installed ram stick i have only one crucial 8gb ddr4 2133mhz it has only 2 slots and its compatible 1.2v is voltage

5) cpu is installed properly all pins went in i firstly raised the pin and then placed the in all went securly no bent pins

6) i dont have cpu cooler that could he the problem

7)there are no wires under the motherboard

8) i placed parts on the box nothing on the carpet

9) i didnt install system speaker dont know how to

10) those front panel pins i asked for help i only connected power switcu well

11)psu is switched on

12) cpu is supported and seller said its bios is updated to latest version

13) i didnt reset cmos i had to install new battery motherboard came with no battery i used from old motherboard
