should i go for i7 4500u +amd radeon 8850m dell laptop which im worried will bottleneck the gpu(dual core) and might not last for another 3 years or the lenovo 410p or 510p which has i7 4700mq with nvidia gt750m which has wifi and battery issues. I play fps games mostly. I regularly play lan games, so i need a good battery back up with no lag , must be good enough for future use. Im open to other options . ( upto 800 dollars) i play games like bf4 , cod

Personally I'd prefer you go with the Lenovo unit. I've never liked DELL and they have a 13% out of the box failure ratio. Lenovo is basically IBM's technology, and I'd rather an Nvidia GPU for extra details like PhysX.

I would choose the Lenovo as well. I used to work at a hospital as a PC tech that used strictly Lenovo. After seeing the kind of abuse the laptops in the medical carts took, I gained a huge respect for Lenovo laptops. i7 4700qm is a far better CPU. As stated above, Asus makes good laptops as well. I have an older sandy bridge i5 Asus with a GT 540m. It has been a reliable laptop for me. I might upgrade it to an i7 2630qm in the near future.

Oh my GOD you are so right! I'm a computer tech in just a healthcare OFFICE, and the laptops take such a beating. I've got a shelf of parts :(
