PLZ help .. After applying thermal paste PC won't turn on, although motherboard LED is on

My motherboard (z87-k asus) seems to be working fine as the light still displays with power, but the PC itself doesn't boot whatsoever. I've tried restabalizing the processor, and I did ground myself before touching anything inside the computer. Also the PSU is working fine if i do the paperclip test. Could my CMOS be the issue, Please someone help me out here.

Yeah those are secured, thinking it's the motherboard, but it was working 10 mins before, after I removed the heat sink it wouldn't turn back on, put it back on and still
 

You might have screwed it in too tightly, shorting the motherboard or bending it even.
 


Could be the issue, one of the screws is jammed in the motherboard, I can't unscrew it, don't know how to get it loose
