PLZ help .. After applying thermal paste PC won't turn on, although motherboard LED is on

My motherboard (z87-k asus) seems to be working fine as the light still displays with power, but the PC itself doesn't boot whatsoever. I've tried restabalizing the processor, and I did ground myself before touching anything inside the computer. Also the PSU is working fine if i do the paperclip test. Could my CMOS be the issue, Please someone help me out here.

Went through the entire list and it didn't work, power is still not booting.

You might have screwed it in too tightly, shorting the motherboard or bending it even.

You might have screwed it in too tightly, shorting the motherboard or bending it even.

Could be the issue, one of the screws is jammed in the motherboard, I can't unscrew it, don't know how to get it loose

Did you remove the processor from the motherboard.If yes,check for bent pins,wrong cpu orientation and thermal paste in the pins
