plz help with my TF2 problem

what do i do? i cant play my TF2 steam game when i click play it says preparing to install TF2 (even tho it is already install) what do i do plz help

First, scan your computer for viruses and malware. Maybe there is something deleting/corrupting files on your PC..
Second you can open up Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall Programs and then find TF2. When you right-click you may have the option to reinstall or repair it.

I'm not saying these will fix it, but it's a start with troubleshooting.
