PCie 3/4 is fine. I'll buy based on $/TB and endurance (TLC). Hope we see that pseudo-HLC (6 bpc) which is like two TLC cells in one unit.

OK thats great, now how about the promised xTB 2.5in format at stupid low prices the industry has promised for years to kill of HDDs?

Even if they don't come with heat sinks or the like, a drive like this is likely to end up on a PCI5-enabled motherboard, which likely already has a heat sink over the slot anyways. So if be perfectly fine with that as long as it's as last as performant as a similarly-priced PCI4 drive.
