Hi, I can't seem to find much information on this card. It says on most sites that it's core clock is 1000Mhz which is the same as the reference specs. What gives? I thought it was an OC edition card.

EDIT: I've purchased it online which is stated as new just without the cables and accessories (and I presume with no box). It was £260/290EUR/$330 and I currently have a gtx 960 whilst waiting for it :)

Once you have it installed and the drivers installed I would get MSI Afterburner or EVGA PrecisionX and set a higher power limit with a temp limit of 83C (create a aggressive fan curve), let Nvidia GPU boost do it's thing and auto overclock the card. I'm sure the card will go significantly higher then the reference clock speed.

Think it was a good deal? Couldn't find this card anywhere else and it is new.

They will, I did that same process with many cards running from the 7XX series to the 10XX series without issues. Got a 1080 ti Hybrid to 1967 boost via that way.

Although results will vary, some of the 780's I did this with only clocked like 120mhz over boost.

I have very little experience with OCing so feel very welcome to correct me, but doesn't GPU boost only apply to:

?

Nope, it also applies to newer GPU's.

Also while your not technically overclocking the card by adjusting the fan curve your helping with temps and increasing the power limit will add a bit a power to the card allowing the Nvidia GPU boost to go a bit further then normal. I find this to be the next best thing to manual overclocking.

You think just increasing the power to the card will manage to push it beyond 1266Mhz? I hope so :)
