Ive just bought a Polaroid 32" HD Ready smart TV from Asda, I am trying to get the 'smart' tv features to work (Netflix, YouTube ect.) but the TV will not connect to my wifi.
My router is downstairs so I cannot use an ethernet cable for a wired connection. I have plugged in the USB wifi dongle which came with the TV, my SSID is visible and the TV can find it. I select my SSID, type in the password and then a menu appears saying 'please wait' and then nothing happens.
I managed to get it to connect to my phones hotspot so I thought it must be my router.
Its just a Sky Hub, I have tried adding the TV using the MAC address but this hasn't worked either. I sometimes manage to get it to connect to the wifi but the connection won't stay on for long. I have also have not managed to get an internet connection yet.
Can someone help please as I don't know what else to try!
