Hey Guys. So I was port forwarding xbox one because xbox live requires you to have some specific ports open. My only concern is that the router page asks for ip during the process. so should I enter the ip of my pc or my console? I have set static ip on my console and at the moment have entered console's ip while forwarding ports. so have i done it correctly?

NOTE: Portforwarding website doesnt have my router listed.

You don't 'have' to open those ports... and you don't 'have' to give your console a static ip, you router is generally smart enough to save addressed per mac address.

Enter the local ip for your console. it sounds you have done it right.

You may need to restart modem/router for port forwarding to take effect.

Most modern modem/routers feature a technology called UPnP "Universal Plug and Play" it's supposed to automatically open the ports as they are requested by your devices. it dosn't always seem to work perfectly and forcing a rule is still preferred.
