Question Portable HDD vs External HDD

Hi all

Has anyone got any experience or has used Seagate HDD.I currently have the 3TB 3.5 and theres a very good deal on the Seagate 6TB 3.5" Backup Plus Hub Desktop External Hard Drive.Can somone please give me some feedback

Getting a 2.5 hdd is more reliable since carrying a 3.5 hdd that needs external power might result in damaging the hdd( happens rarely). Get a branded hdd like samsung. I have been using a 2.5 1tb hdd of samsung for aleast 6 years now( unbelievable right)

That's insane wow ive never herd of that before wow.I don't travel with any HDD because they all have my tv series,movie and music so I keep the in the drawer at home,so either one would be perfect.Thats a possibility I must agree with you there.but if that does happen you have the option to use a usb sata adapter of plug it into the Pc which has its benefits but they are very bulky.What model is your samsung?
