Hi all.

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a small portable monitor designed for temporarily connecting to a PC for things like repairs? In my mind it would come with some kind of protective sleeve and optionally a keyboard and track pad.

Like a mini pocket crash cart / KVM.

I'd be interested in seeing some specific examples. But thanks to the suggested search results feature on this forum I have potentially answered my own question with this product -

https://www.asus.com/uk/Monitors/MB16AC/

A little pricey but its rather nice and would double as a secondary laptop screen. Not quite the heavy duty technicians brick I had in mind though.

yeah, that's the type of thing I had in mind

however, if it was something intended for repair use, a usb connection might not be ideal

something with more standardised connections would be more beneficial (eg hdmi/dp/vga etc)

I have often wondered about the availability of such a thing for testing purposes. Something similar to a digital photo frame with inputs or a tablet with inputs.
Not a lot of call for this sort of thing so not a lot of choice.

Thanks - not really what I was looking for but this seems like a very cost effective solution if nothing more engineered exists!
