Fine ... I'll remove the "lettuce" comment from my last post ... it was a bit snide.

A little levity is fine; some of the posts seemed a little more acrid than humorous, nearly rising to the level of personal attack about which another Moderator had already warned.
At the risk of generalizing, most techno-geeks are extremely opinionated; we just need to acknowledge the validity of others' opinions; please persuade with facts and reason, not emotion and insult.

I think though it is also apparent in this thread that some people are insulted by facts, reason and a little levity, when it doesn't align with their opinions ... its almost a catch 22, isn't it? :)

Also, acrid and acrimonious, aren't really the correct terms here for what has happened here ... snide fits better, facetiousness maybe best.

I could try dressing it up another way, but I did get kinda snarky.

In any case we're in kind of a lull here between CES and Computex. We aren't going to see much but a leaked benchmark here or there, and if it isn't obvious by now AMD is not willing to show their full hand. Soooo... I expect about a bajillion leaks/rumors until the next headline event for chip makers. We SHOULD see 3rd gen Ryzen and maaaaaaaybe Navi... but if Radeon VII performance leaks are to be believed we should have a good month full of AMD news saying either "Great job AMD! You really tried... but you made an ok card!" or "&*@#! AMD GET YOUR $^#$ TOGETHER!"... thinking about it, most likely both! :)

Man... this place is really great.
