Hello, a few weeks ago I was playing cs:go with some friends and suddenly the image in my screen freezes, becomes completely distorted and then all black (no image).

At first I thought it could be like the ps3 fat ylod, but I also thought it might really be broken because it's a factory overclocked card and it is almost 7 years old.

What could be the problem?
Can it be Fixed?

The graphics card is a Power Color HD4870 512MB GDDR5

What is your rest system specs? Do you have an igpu or another gpu to test whether your system is running otherwise? How about your psu?(brand, model etc.)Is your cpu oc'ed?Run memtest86+ 5.01.Try to see if you can t install that gpu in another system and see what happens
