Possible CPU Bottleneck ?

I was wondering if an Core 2 Quad Q8400 at default clocks (2.66) would bottleneck a HD 7770 or ?
Plan on upgrading to that card and was wondering if there would be any major bottleneck, And considering the resolution of my screen.


Computer parts: Core 2 Quad Q8400 (2.66)
HD 6570 low profile
OEM PSU 250-300 watts (going to change when I upgrade)
Seagate 250gb 7200rpm HDD
Windows 7 Professional x64
Acer AL1717 (1280x1024 Native resolution)

no it can't bottleneck with even 7850

No a core2quad is still a good CPU. You will run a 7770 just fine. Just get yourself a 400w or better PSU with 1 6-pin connector.
