Possible faulty GPU

Hello,
I am having some issues with my GTX 560Ti. It's an older card, and I¨ve had it for some time, but has held up pretty admirably so far. I just downloaded Dragon Age:Orogons - so it should have no problems with it, but the screen went funny after a few minutes.

After that, random crashes have been occuring (the same type always). Also the sound starts stuttering and slows down. How can I make sure that the gpu is actually at fault and whether it's not just maybe an issue of overheating(which i doubt - its been cleaned and the temps are in check). What tools should I use?

I can also switch to my GTX 9800, but was hoping to do some testing first..

Thanks for any input :)

Sorry though it would be visible :)

@Arronleeds I used to have an overclock (stable), but I use the default settings now.. unfortunately anything I try playing makes it crash. It even ceashed while on youtube once (but it comes back after a while)

im gonna say its your gpu mate, looks like its dying, unplug your card from the power supply and plug your cable into your motherboard and try using your onboard graphics, if you still get the problem its not your gpu but if you dont then it is. easiest way to find out.

@Arronleads allright - I am going to try that.. and if I find out it is in fact my gpu, is there any point in figuring out what precisely it is? running mem tests and so on? or is basically the only option just buying a new one?
