I'm looking to add a dedicated graphics card to my computer. Specs here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-Slimline-s5-1000-Desktop-PC-series/5080757/model/5142743/document/c02877306/

Pretty sure my biggest problem is the low power supply. What's the best card I can get in here and still work?

Just to give you some confidence, I have installed a low profile gtx 750 ti into a friends slimline s5-1554 (very simular model with the same psu). He has had it running for about 6 months and is still gaming to this day. We did have trouble getting it to boot because of a buggy bios. After we updated the bios, it worked like a charm. I guarantee you will see a huge difference.

If you still have the stock cpu in that machine, I would recommend upgrading to a core 2 quad q9550 or q9650 if you plan on doing any gaming whatsoever. They are around 60$ on ebay. Good luck!

220W pretty low. It doesn't look like you're using up a ton of power though considering the CPU. So the closest thing I can think of is this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127836
A GTX 750ti which only uses a small amount of power (65-75w) on load. If not, try the GT 730. It barely uses 40W

On the website though, in the specifications section, it says 300 watt or greater power supply?

I saw this also. But I looked up benchmarks and power usage and it's relatively low. I guess it assumes you have a more "Powerful" system, like a Processor using 75-100w.

the pentium e6800 uses about 75 watts its self that combined with your ram hdd and your integrated graphics thats gonna put you at about 125 watts and you always want to have at least 100 watts left unused

Also I actually want to see an improvement, I don't want to upgrade and not be able to tell a difference. I'm sure anything will help, my current card doesn't even have opengl support...
