I may have an issues with my PSU. Not sure. Brand new PC, brand new parts, professionally built. I’m having an intermittent issues where 70% of the time when I turn on my pc it won’t display anything (no display). I have tested the display and cables on a different pc, I have also used different displays and cables on the problem pc. Same results, so I can rule out monitors and cables. These are my specs:

Asus Prime X570-P
Amd Ryzen 9 3900x
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 super 8g
2x 16gb Corsair Vengeance Rgb pro 3600MHz
Corsair RM650 power supply
Asus AC1200 WiFi adapter
Samsung 1TB solid slate drive
Coolermaster Masterbox MB530P

When the pc DOES display things and turns on it works great. No issues no slow downs. If the pc goes to sleep while on, it has the same 70% chance of not displaying anything when waking.

I have tried booting with peripherals attached and same issue. Someone on a discoed mentioned that 650 psu was not enough for that but I’ve calculated the watts needed for the pc and it’s about 520. So I’m not sure how accurate that is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Solution
Try using both pcie cables (first connector each), not just one cable=two connectors.

And btw, if professionally build, what do they have to say about it?
