Hello,

I am purchasing a used ASUS TUF 3070 Ti card tomorrow and was wondering if there is a way to ensure it is a Ti card and not just a 3070 from looking at the hardware alone? Any identifying marks or model numbers on the hardware?

Thanks!

Solution
Yes, go to Asus website and look at the display outputs on the back.

the ti has the ports in an L shape, with the display ports on top and the hdmi on the bottom.

the 3070 has the hdmi ports wedged between the display ports at the top.

It will have stickers on it that identify the model too. These stickers usually are intended to show evidence of tampering, so it's likely you would know if someone had messed with them.
