Possible Upgrade Suggestions Needed - On a Budget

I'm looking at upgrading a few components in my wife's computer, and my computer - a little extra money at Christmas time is always nice, but not enough to build a new PC. Unfortunately, it's been a long time since I've bought my own components, in the last few years I've just purchased a PC already put together by a local shop.

Suggestions on possible "upgrades-on-the-cheap", with specifics would be awesome.

Firstly; My wife's computer is badly starved for RAM (I think), but I think it's good for everything else she (or my kids) throws at it. She mainly plays Facebook games, the kids play Minecraft and Roblox mainly. Below is a CPU-Z report for her computer:

The wife's computer is lacking in RAM. 4GB isn't enough these days. She also has a pretty slow CPU. Yours could use a new GPU, SSD and RAM.

I would pick up a 2x8GB kit. Put it in your computer and use your old RAM to upgrade your wife's PC. I would get a pair of 120GB or 240GB SSDs, one for each PC. I might pick up a GPU, a RX 460 or GTX 1050. And a new APU for your wife's PC- an A10-6800K or something like that should be fairly cheap.

Thank you greatly for your suggestions, and this is most likely what I'll end up doing - unfortunately however, when it comes to the RAM - there are so many options. If I can swap my ram into my wife's computer that'll work great, but what "kind" or "speed" or type of ram am I looking for for my computer?

SSD and GPU I understand, and can find upgrades for - but the RAM really confuses me as to what type/speed/PIN's etc.

I would not put money on that system. Its too old imo to put money into upgrading. 4GB is plenty for facebooking and minecraft. If your pc is slowing down maybe its because of windows. Do a fresh install, get antivirus.

Save up and get a new system. Like i3 + H110 motherboard + 8gb ram. Or a pentium G4400. You can buy an SSD now. Because you will be able to use it in your next system.

By the way, most of CPU-Z report is useless for us. Instead a screenshot of summary page of HWinfo is far better.
 
You need 240 pin DDR3 DIMMs, in a 2x8GB kit (individual purchase not recommended). I would get the cheapest DDR3-2133 kit available in that size and type. The only difference between options is the heat spreader (unimportant today) and binning (unless over clocking, unimportant).

Thanks for all the suggestions - here's what I ended up doing, and so far - aside from one hiccup (I'll be hoping for an answer here) - all is going well.

For my computer, I picked up four 8gb 1600 RAM sticks, a 250gb SSD and 1tb SSHD. Everything seems to be running great, and fast as well.

For my wife's computer - she ended up needing a new PS so that kind of put a damper on her budget, but she inherited my two old 4gb sticks of ram and a bunch of new fans (hey, they had lights in them - so she accepted that :)).

That being said - I've run into the "Windows will only recognize half my RAM" issue on her computer.

- BIOS reports 8gb
- CPU-Z reports 8gb
- Windows reports 4gb and only 3.5gb usable
- Checked msconfig and RAM use is not limited (advanced settings)
- Checked BIOS and RAM is not being limited

I ran into this issue before on a previous computer and it ended up being an msconfig issue, fixed it easily. This is not being so easy to fix.

Running Windows 10 64bit as well.

Any thoughts? Suggestions?
