I have an odd problem. I just migrated my hardware from a smaller case to my new NZXT Flow9 case and added an AIO NZXT Kraken 360 cooler. My problem is that when I plug in the front panel USB 3.2 connector to the mainboard, the video card doesn't work. I get a white light on the VGA indicator. If I unplug the USB connector, it works fine I can't figure out why this is happening. I have checked all the cables to make sure they were snugly connected.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Specs:
Mainboard: MSI Pro Z690-A wifi
CPU: Intel Core i5-12600KF
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB
GPU: AMD Radeon RX7900 XTX
PSU: EVGA 1000w G5
NZXT Kraken 360 AIO cooler
NZXT H9 Flow case
Monitor: 32" ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP

BIOS version for your motherboard? Often times a short or improper cabling in your case's front panel USB type-C port might also cause a grounding issue or an anomaly as you've mentioned.

Can you please pass on images of your build and how all your internal components are tethered to the ports on your motherboard? It's to rule out any wiring mishaps that might've happened.

PSU: EVGA 1000w G5
How old is the PSU in your build?

Did you have to install and standoffs for the motherboard in the case?

Ended up taking it to Microcenter to get fixed. They said it could be due to the GPU PCIe slot clip being broken and the GPU coming loose. They wanted to replace the entire motherboard. I declined. It is working and I know what to watch for in the future, so I'm not going to spend hundreds of dollars on something that doesn't HAVE to be replaced.

As for the answers to the questions you asked:

The bios version is 5.24.
The PSU is a week younger than my GPU. I hadn't taken in to consideration the new card would require more wattage, so I had to go buy a new one when I got paid.
There are no standoffs on my motherboard.
