Possible Virus - Looking for some clues

Started having a web hijack that redirects me, every time I click a link. I ran Spybot to check it out and was bluescreened, about 1/4 of the way through with multiple irp requests. This has happened several times now. In addition, Hijack this won't even run, so I'm thinking it's a virus that has multiple protections in place. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Aware of what virus might specifically generate a multiple irp error when Spybot is run? Any help is appreciated.
