Possibly a PSU problem (Asking for help)

Recently my framerates have gotten worse and worse in every game i play. I thought it was my gpu first but when i swapped my old one for a newer one, the problem still occured. Im starting to think that it might be my PSU failing, since it is so old.

I took a screenshot of the "rail voltages" (I think) and i thought that maybe someone can help me interpret it. Since I dont know much about this stuff

How can you have 12 GB of Dual-Channel RAM? 2x4 GB plus 1-4 GB?

I got 3 RAM sticks, 2x4 plus 4gb i believe, (Is this something that makes my pc worse?). Keep in mind that im completely lost when it comes to these kinds of stuff. And yes, maybe it is mis-reads, this is what HWINFO shows: http://imgur.com/a/LKKgY .
If it's not the PSU, what could it possibly be? Do i need to upgrade my CPU?

Those voltages are in line , within safe spec range.

What make and model PSU?

Are you overclocking the 4770K?

I guess your 2x4 GB could be running in dual-channel mode and the 1x4 GB in single channel mode, assuming you have the 2x4 GB in the same colored DIMM slots. Did you recently add the 1x4GB stick? You can use CPU-Z to determine the frequencies and timings of the RAM. Use the SPD tab and look separately at each DIMM slot.

No, im not overclocking my 4770K. Just opened up my computer and noticed that i use 2x4gb + 2x2gb DDR3, is it better to roll with 8gb or should i keep it at 12gb? The RAM is correctly placed.

It won't make much of a difference , just leave it at 12.

If the RAM is not at the same frequency, all of it will run at the lowest speed. You could try removing the 2x2 GB and see if you still have poor framerates. How are your cpu temperatures while gaming? Do you have a lot of dust buildup on the CPU cooler or elsewhere in the case? It is possible that in an old build the thermal paste between the cpu and cpu cooler has dried out and is no longer as effective in helping keep the cpu cool.

Now that i think about it, its very possible that my ram is not running at the same frequency. I recently added the 2 sticks and if i remember correctly my memory usage is always capped at 4gb eventho i see that its only 1/3 of what i got. I will take a look at it tomorrow. I have already looked at the temperatures and they seem to be fine. I clean my pc regularly..

If you are running a 32 bit version of Windows, only 4 GB of RAM will be available (or maybe slightly less, if some is hardware reserved). Check in your Task Manager under the Performance Tab under Memory.
