[SOLVED] Post code 99

Hello, I have an MSI Z97 GAMING 9 ACK board and it stoped booting yesterday, It froze so I restarted it to get it to stop on a ton of codes, after an hour it finally gave me 99 and I dont know how to fix it. I have tried, reseting the cpu, 1 sticj of ram, no you, cmos rest, no hard drive ( it gets a2 if I have it plugged in) and none have fixed the problem. Full specs below.
Mobo: MSI Z97 GAMING 9 ACK
Cpu: i7 4790K
Gpu:gtx 1050ti
Ram:24 gb, 16 G.skill (slots 2 and 4) 8 Patriot (slots 1 and 3)

code 99 is super I/O
which is: serial and paralel ports, PS/2, floppy drive, temperature sensors, fan controllers

u may try unplug any mentioned peripherals
also try to reset CMOS
otherwise your mainboard is shot, as super io chip is located inside chipset

Hello, thank you for the help,
My board is now passing 99 but is getting code A2. This is the 6 (or so) code it has gotten. But the CMOS reset must have worked.

Are you following the Forum sticky : Bench it ... ?
This is a very good basic mb fault tracer.

A2 is to my knowledge a boot error code, meaning no boot storage device was found.
Usually its a missing disk connection or no bootable OS found on any disks.
Could you have a bad SATA cable to your drive or a failing power connection ?

A2 means harddrive detection, not related to OS boot
i do agree with checking cables to your harddrives
if your drives seems to have all cables connected while still hanging on A2,
then disconnect sata/optical drives from mainboard (sata ports)
if it pass, connect only one sata drive at a time
if it hangs, drive is dead
