post screen doesn't show but win10 loads

new monitor using display port. windows loads but i can't see post or bios screen. if i swap with my old monitor using dvi i can see boot screen and bios screen.
fast load for windows is not enabled.
manufacturers driver is installed lenovo y27ga and recognized
i don't want to pull the cmos battery so i'll just live with it if no one has a suggestion.

Put BIOS in CSM mode.

thanks for the reply. my old ga z97 hd3 gigabyte motherboard has the windows 8 or other o/s option. mine is set to other o/s and csm isn't selectable. i have win 10 and probably a old bios version. i not going to try anything for now. probably just live with it this way. thanks again.
