Question POST screen

Do I need another HD like an SSD or a HDD drive to go with my M2 drive. I’m not getting a POST screen ?

ASRock Z790 pro RS
i7-13700K
Samsung 990 pro with heatsink PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD
G.skill ddr5 Trident Z5 32 gig, two 16 gigs
Gigabyte 4070 Ti gpu

Can you boot into BIOS?
If so you just need to install windows.

No I can’t, not showing nothing. Mouse and keyboard light up but nothing on monitor. I have plugged into all my DP ports on gpu and not showing post screen. ?

Ok I figured it out. My dumb self didn’t realize I purchased the wrong monitor,

ALIENWARE AW3423DWF which is for AMD not G-sync.
Good thing I got it from Best Buy so exchange should be no problem.

Not sure this is your problem. Monitors are usually generic with respect to booting.

Yup I am going to get with the manufacture and see what they have to say.

Ok all is well, could not use QR code that came with documents so went to Dell’s site to see manual and set up is complete.
Now this is a totally awesome monitor highly recommend it.
