POST Time Increasing

Hey,

My computer is very close to becoming 1 year old. Over the time, however, the POST time has been getting longer and longer. Recently, after a botched system refresh and installing a USB hub, the POST time has gotten close to 10 seconds, where it used to only flash for just a second. I have noticed that all the USB devices, connected to the hub or not, are slower to turn on during this post. I've tried removing USB drivers, disabling USB devices, unplugging them, but the POST is still longer that normal. Is my computer just getting to that point where its old and I will have to accept it?

post - load bios
boot - load bios then windows

By now you've probably added to the start up programs list - like I have - Afterburner, mobo utility software, anti virus, printer, webcam, etc etc

It takes time for this stuff to load too.

Mine has never booted in 10 seconds though.

I am talking about me having the ASRock splash screen with "Hit F2 or DEL to enter BIOS" stuff, not actual windows boot. Does stuff like Afterburner affect my BIOS time too?
