post your CD2 temps here

E6600 @ 3.0ghz w/ Zalman 9700 @1.376v
ambient room temp = 21c

idle: 32c
full load: 50c
motherboard temp = 20c (1 degree below room temp..booyakhasha)

also I am using an antec p180b case with pvc piping drawing cold air in from outside ontario canada @ 0c today.

=================================================
stock speed:
idle: 22
load: 40

Idle: 55c
Full load: 70c

what's going on, I have the E6300, and I haven't done any overclocking and I'm using the stock cooling. The fan is tightly screwed in, so maybe its the airflow?

No matter how tightly the fan is screwed on, your thermal paste isn't on right - if those really are your temperatures.

It could be a measuring error too. How are you measuring the temperature?

E6600 @ Stock Speeds w/ Zalman CNPS9700

According to my Striker-Extreme BIOS it is at 25c

Didnt install windows yet so I cant tell a temp from any program.

6600 @ 3.52 Ghz Zalman 9700, AS5
39 c idle
52 c full load
striker extreme mobo temps recorded on asus probe II and are the same in bios

Right. But the OP is asking what your temps are with Core Temp. Core Temp reads the temperature in a different way.

Ha woops my bad lol that would be one hell of a system back in the early 80's. Ya but after my 10th reinstall of windows I'm not installing anything that I don't need lol

55 Idle
74 Load

WTF? After like 2 minutes.

Looks like my brother messed with my fan control they were off. Now:

45 Idle
66 Load.

Still high

We have been remodeling the basement and we took out the cement creating lots of dust. My filters are all clogged and heatsinks are coated with white fine dust. They use to be around 44 and 60. I'm gonna blow my computer out and get back to you guys.

Edit: Temps are back to normal.

43 Idle.

62 Load after 10 mins.

Thanks without this thread who knows how much longer they would of stayed high.

Wow. My temps above for "full load" are real world applications, specifically gaming. My temps don't go over 53c. But with this tool you linked at the top (TAT) my temps reach 68c. Yep, I am waiting for my zalman to arrive.

Why is this in the "memory" forum?

haha oh wait nvm guys, I set the fan speed to 100%, and now it's 46c idle and 63c full load. I'm buying another case fan tomorrow because all I have is that one, and the one that comes with the other equipment and case.

E6600 at 3.6ghz(450X8) 1.45vCore(set)
