They completely destroyed the Porsche "image" with that mammoth.

IMO, Porsche should build a cheap(er) 4-cylinder powered coupe/hatchback. It should weigh <2,500lbs, have an engine of between 2.0-2.5 litres and 150-200HP, and should cost $25-30,000. Kinda like a 914 or 924. They could have a turbo version (944 turbo, anyone?), or a 2.5-litre version of the Boxster engine (a'la 914-6). But most importantly, cut out the fancy, complex electronics. No navigation, no 6-disc CD changer, so sunroof, and especially NO automatic option. A single-disc CD player with iPod jack will do, along with a nice 5-or 6-speed manual.

The styling should be a modern interpertation of the 914, complete with Fuchs-looking wheels. Just don't put the VW badge  .

I know, this is SOOO off-topic, but I had to get this off my chest. If Porsche builds a car like this, then I MIGHT forgive them for the Cayenne.

If anything, they should have built a sedan before a stupid, hulking SUV.

😀

I know the 914 and the 944. I pretty much know almost every model Porsche has.

What I meant was: How can you like those? :?

The 914 looks like a 1960 japanese car, and the 944... Front engine? Come on...

Okay, then; forget the 914/944. Porsche should make a rear-engined VW-powered 4-seater coupe based on a VW chassis. Do you like the the 356?

This is on a Viewsonic VX2025wm 1680 x 1050 widescreen display. It's pretty much all my dorm's desk had room for along with the tower, not that I could afford anything bigger.

Since I hate clutter, I like to have as few icons on the desktop as possible, while still remaining functional to a visual/spatial learner.

The image is from This Is Broken. I love that site, and anyone who hasn't heard of it will love it too.

EDIT: Just changed something a few minutes ago. See if anyone can notice something odd about it...

Yeah, I like the 356. It was the beginning of everything.
It has some charm.

As long they keep the traditional 6-cylinder boxer configuration... why not VW?
