XP1700+ [t-bred b] @ 2254Mhz (196x11.5), 1.6Vcore
TT Volcano 7+ (on low speed - hair dryer rather than jet engine)

~40 - 44C idle..
~50 - 55C Load. (sandra burn-in)

would try to oc further, but it's not stable when faster, even up to 1.9V, and I don't like pumping that much Voltage thru it..

$hit Happens. I just wish it would happen to someone else for a change.

1) Xp2500 @ 11x@200 37c idle , 42c load - slk800u/TTSmart fan II
2) Xp2100 t/bred b , 39 idle , 45 load , volcano 9
3) P4 2.53 , 37 idle , 44-46 load , stock cooler
4) T-bird 1.1 , 42 idle , 48-50 load , Falcon Rock
5) celeron 533 (for 4yr old) Dont care bout temp

2500xp (barton) @ 2.3ghz 1.78 volts
Room temp = 32C (insane heatwave here right now)
Case temp = 37C
CPU idle = 47C
Load (prime95) = 52C

When it was a bit cooler yesterday, cpu idled at about 43C and 48 load. Im using the SK7 and 2 smartfans for cooling. Ive only just put the new cpu in so in a weeks time once the AS3 has settled, and once the heatwave passes, will probably idle low 40's.

Its just Amazing that most of you don't have a bigger swing from Idle to full load. I need to get a new one.

"Bush+Rumsfield=Dictatorship"

P4 2.4B@ 2.8 (vcore=1.65): idle-35/36C, load-39/40C
cooling: volcano 7+ & 4 x 80mm case fans (antec 1040 case, highly modded)

don't need one...if i pull the fan off of my current setup...the cpu temp is 55c full load...

If i put my k6 in a Ferrari it would be faster than your your pentium 4 or Athlon XP

no i don't mind the noise...so i am leaving it on...it keeps my cpu nice and cool...and that is good especially when you are running the cpu .5 volts over stock voltage...

If i put my k6 in a Ferrari it would be faster than your your pentium 4 or Athlon XP

Athlon Thunderbird 1.2Ghz, using stock hsf. 60-63º idle, 70º full load.

ahahahahah wowwwww

Bah

AthlonXP 1700+ @ 2.4Ghz 32c Idle, 37c load

I want to see an <font color=blue>Ati Radeon 99999 Ultra Pro</font color=blue>, based on the <font color=red>AtiRage core</font color=red>. And people wonder how a <font color=purple>Geforce3</font color=purple> is better than a <font color=orange>Geforce4 Mx...</font color=orange>

after 2.2 volts it won't get into windows...no matter what speed i try it at...at 2.5 volts durring post everything looks funnny...hehe i wounder if i have voided my cpus warantee? running a 1.65 volt cpu at 2.5...that certainly is not kosher...

I really don't care about this chip...i hate it, it won't overclock for $hit!

If i put my k6 in a Ferrari it would be faster than your your pentium 4 or Athlon XP

Actually i have really started to gain respect for the resilience of the pIII's...It kinda makes me wonder if these "suden death syndromes" are fact or fiction...

I can honestly say that after a certain voltage...even if the cpu is under 40c...voltage does nothing to help your overclock and just makes your cpu unstable...

If i put my k6 in a Ferrari it would be faster than your your pentium 4 or Athlon XP

Yeah right! Where do you live, Alaska?

The bigger I am, the harder they fall.

I had an Athlon 1.4GHz T-bird that would swing from 45c to 61c on a Gigabyte 7DX board. I've since switched cases, boards and processors. Seemed that switching the board and case made more difference than anything.
