Hi all! As the title says, my system posted in safe mode once. I have had this system for 1 month, and this is the first time it happened. After that, i repeatedly turned the system off and on with an interval of about 5min (total of around 10 cycles) each to try and replicate the problem and i wasn't able to reproduce the issue.

Is it safe to assume this is just a one time hiccup? I've been quite paranoid about it as this is a fairly new system, overthinking that it might happen again.

Ryzen 5 5600
Kingston hyperx 8x2 3200mhz
Asus b450m tuf gaming ii

Toshiba 1tb hdd

Thank you!

Likely some "hiccup". Being a new system there may have been corrupt or buggy software.

Either in the original software or some update. Windows may have resolved the issue.

Perhaps a problem configuration issue that reverted back to a default setting and all was made well.

Look in Reliability History, Event Viewer, and Update History - any one or all of the three tools may have captured some error code, warning, or even informational event just before or around the time of the safe mode post.

Reliability History is user friendly. Event Viewer not so much. Takes more time and effort.

Update History may reveal some problem update or install.

No harm in looking about. Just do not start "fixing" things without specific reasons for doing so and without a known/applicable solution.

And not too late to implement a backup routine if you are not already doing so.
