Photobucket... nothing I can really describe as to why, but I recall doing image shack way back when and it was laggy as all hell, never had a prob with Photobucket.

Actually wait, one bonus that I really like is that when you upload a picture, it gives you links with tags already in them, url, img, and something else... but the kicker is when you click the link, it automatically copies it for you for your pasting pleasure 😀

Photobucket is great i have used both and seem to have a faster overall experience with PB. The new add's they put on there is a bit annoying but for free who can complain.

The only problem with Photobucket is that it will resize your images.

Imageshack doesn't resize them but still maintains a limit on file size (less than 1.5MB).

I use both, but if I want to show a large image I use imageshack, because photobucket will take my 3000x720 image and make it 1200x400 or whatever, and that's not good for image comparisons.

If you want a small picutre for a long time, like for your sig, then use photobucket, if you want to post a big pic for a short while and a few page views, then imageshack.

that's just my 2 frames' worth.
