So I got a RTX3080 from the Newegg shuffle but it came bundled with a Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Master LGA 1200 ATX mb

My current build is:
I5 10600k
Asrock H470 Phantom Gaming 4 ATX mb
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2 x 8gb 2933(runs at 2666 because of the I5)
EVGA GTX 1060 6gb
PNY XLR8 CS3030 2TB M.2 ssd
Corsair RMx 750w
Scythe Fuma 2 cpu cooler

Would it be worthwhile to build upon the Z590 with an 11th gen Intel for a gaming rig? Was thinking:
I7 11700k(seen it on sale for $350)
The Z590
G.skill Trident Z 3200 32gb (4x8)
The RTX 3080
The PNY ssd
Seasonic 1000w psu
Nzxt x73 360mm AIO cooler

Or would it be better to just eat the cost of the board and be happy I finally have a 3080? Or swap to AMD 5 or 7 or even Intel 12th gen?

the Z590 will work with your current system if you want to swap it out.

it's much nicer than your current board but unless you're overclocking and/or want to take advantage of the extra options this Auros Master offers i would put the board up for sale locally and see if anyone wants to pay full price for the unopened product.
if within a few weeks no one responds then i would again consider keeping it and swapping out.

you won't see a big difference in performance when it...

you won't see a big difference in performance when it comes to games with a stock 11700K vs a 10600K with a good overclock.
with more CPU intensive games you will see a few FPS more but nothing drastic.

and you should be able to get better RAM speeds with your 10th gen by manually setting manufacturer rated specs if XMP profiles aren't available.
maybe just upgrade to a 2x 16GB 3200 kit.
you won't see any improvement going for a quad-channel set with 10th or 11th gen.

You could do something like this and pair it up with either 2x8GB DDR4 3200mhz or 2x16GB DDR4 3200mhz RAM.
