Question PotPlayer starts to lag after a few hours

After 7 or so hours on Windows 10, PotPlayer starts to take longer to load for some reason. The videos themselves are not affected.
it's not a big difference but it's noticeable and annoying.

The only solution I've found so far is to log off then on again, then PotPlayer gets fast again to open up.

i'm on Windows 10 Pro

Is this normal?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

Log off as you have been doing thus far.

Then open Task Manager or Resource Monitor. Use both tools but only one tool at a time.

Keep the tool window open so you can observe Windows performance while playing.

Watch for what has changed or begins to change when and as the lagging begins.

It may require a bit of trial and effort to be able to set up the observation window and focus on any given resource.

Take your time, be methodical, keep notes.
