As long as the charger has the same output voltage and an equal or higher amperage (which the one you linked does) then you are good to go.

What about polarity
The computer has positive polarity.

All the AC adapter replacements for the HP slimline 450 that I can find have a center positive polarity, so you should be good on that too.
