[SOLVED] Power Brick for PICOPSU

Solution
I have a pico psu and am looking to buy a new power brick for it. The PICOPSU I have is 80 watt with the brick being 60 wattt (12v). I was looking at purchasing a 12v 8 amp internal power supply such as https://www.amazon.com/NOYITO-AC-DC-100-260V-Industrial/dp/B07C2MMKW3 . I was wondering if anyone had experience in using power supplies like this for PICOPSU? I am primarily worried about the voltage not being exactly 12

I used one of those to power an Asus Tinkerboard. It's [censored]. Voltages all over the place and ripple upwards of 300mV. The Tinkerboard died in 6 months.

How much power does your system actually need? Only 60W and that's why you're using a 60W brick now?

The best solution is almost always a power...

The best solution is almost always a power brick like those laptops use. Depending on your PicoPSU, it can accept a range of inputs to 19V. If your PicoPSU only accepts +12V input, there are several +12V power bricks out there.

Best places to find them are OnLogic (formerlly LogicSupply) and mini-box:
