I got a new case today and installed a new motherboard. When I hooked everything up the power button wouldn't work and I had to do a hard boot from the button on the motherboard. However I couldn't setup the bios because there is no thermal paste on the cpu and it overheats and makes the gpu turn off. Anyway, could the lack of thermal paste be causing the power button not to work? Because I was told some components won't work until I apply the thermal paste for greater cpu connection. Any help at all would be great.
