Question Power button not working, return case?

Went though a lot of headache yesterday to learn I may have a faulty power button. Anything I can try or do before unbuilding my pc and returning it?

It will only start when I jump it.

You might list all of your parts.
Is the cable from the power button connected to the proper pins?
Is the cable or connections damaged?
Is there a reset button that you can use instead?
If the button is faulty, the maker should be able to send you a replacement.
In the mean time, use a temporary power button like this:
