About a month ago, I bought an Acer GN276HL bid 27-inch monitor. Whenever I turn my PC off, or to sleep... The monitor WONT TURN OFF. Also, when I try the power button, that also doesn't work. The only way for me to turn off my monitor is by unplugging it. Then, when I plug it back in... It constantly turns off and restarts itself. PLEASE watch this video in it's entirety where I show visual examples of my problems. It's much easier to understand in my opinion, versus just reading about the problem.

Also, I can't refund it. I got it off Amazon and Im pretty sure it's past it's warranty date.

If this problem wont affect the quality or performance of my monitor, then it wont bother me. I just need to know asap so I can figure out if I need to invest in ANOTHER monitor or not.

Thanks

Good to know, however I'd like to leave that option as a last possible solution. I don't want to return it, unless I absolutely have to.

My worry is that there's a fault in how it's managing power... ie. it's not

the fact it's not detecting it needs to sleep and the power button is doing nothing would personally make me want to return it asap.

saying that, it could run without any extra problems, but given the type of fault it already has... it could also mean it could completely fail at any moment
