power dvd 14 unsupported audio, please help

when I open some videos, it says unsupported audio, what's the problem? vlc doesn't do this

because power dvd didn't have the decoder for the audio, what was it encoded with?

With VLC, Open the file you want and open Tools -> Codec Information.
