Hey guys,

I have the Be Quit! Dark Power Pro as power supply. Where do I plug in the power cable for the MSI GeForce GTX 1070?

Is it PCIe1, 2, 3 or 4?

Here is how it looks:

Solution
It would have been different if PSU put out lower current than recommended power per 12v rail.
requirement for GTX 1070 is 30amps, I brought connector 3 & 4 up for a reason and its obvious.

It's a 550W...

Dont pay much attention to any of the amps and stuff its a good Power supply any of those slots will work fine and 550W is just fine unless you have 2 graphics cards.

That's completely wrong.

The PCIe power sockets on that PSU are only wired to either the +12V3 or the +12V4 rails.

+12V2 is strictly dedicated to the CPU power connectors.

+12V1 is wired to the motherboard ATX 24-pin connector and peripheral power connectors.

It really doesn't matter which PCIe sockets on the PSU are used to power the graphics card.

So it doesn't matter where I plug in the 1070?

Correct.

An MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X 8 GB graphics card itself draws at most 16 Amps peak.
