Hi,
I have got a tp link power-line av500 set up to my desktop in my bedroom and my router is downstairs in a room where the washing machine and dryer are ( which is one i think the problem is ) and basically my browsing speed is bad. It consistent, pages don't load or take ages. I have fibre obtic and the laptop downstairs is really fast. What other ways can i get internet to my desktop and if not how can i improve my power line.
Thanks

Be sure the adapters are plugged straight to the wall outlet and not through a power outlet strip. Try a different nearby outlet if available.

If you have coax outlets close to your devices, then MoCA adapters are an alternative.

Wireless adapters are an option if you have good signal strength upstairs.
