Power off USB Asus

Hi guys,...i got an Asus B85mG an if i shut down the computer all the Usb port lamps and Usb dongle lamps and even the light on the ps2 keyboard stays on. I searched in the bios for USB charger or anything but cant find anything helpfull. Does someone have a tip. Thx a lot

In the BIOS under ADVANCED > APM there is a ErP/EuP setting, set it to enabled (S5).

You will need an ErP compliant PSU for this to work. Uninstall ASUS Ai charger too if you have it, it is usually installed together with Asus AI Suite software.

ErP Support determines whether to let the system consume less than 1W of power in S5 (shutdown) state. If the PSU is not ErP compliant it will still draw >1W, so the BIOS setting wont work, you will need to change to a compliant PSU.

It's no big deal, comes in handy for charging devices (eg smartphone, e-cigs etc) without turning on the PC.
I wouldn't bother trying to disable that feature, I don't see the point. It's doing no harm.
