Question Power on but no post

Hey all,

I am having some issues i think with my motherboard i was re installing my aio cooler ealrier today and now my pc powers up but does not post or power any of my external peripherals kb mouse ect.

I have tried the following.

a) resetting the cmos
b) trying to boot with out a gpu / different gpu (plugging the display directly into the mobo)
c) booting with no ram

When i power on everything seems to spin up perfectly fine.

Specs:

Mobo: Msi mpg z390 Gaming Edge
CPU: intel core i9 9900kf
Ram: 32gb corsair vengence ddr4 @ 2133mhz
GPU: MSI GTX 1070
PSU: Silver stone Strider essential 700w 80 Bronze

any and all help is welcomed

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU. Also, try working with one stick of ram and built atop the motherboard box.

You won't get any display from the motherboard's end since the i9 you have doesn't have an iGPU, hence the F in it's moniker/suffix.
