[SOLVED] Power problem with the pc

So this is the second issue i have with building my rig.
So in short my pc posted just fine in my kitchen where i built it then i moved it to my livingroom to hook it up to my main setup.
I hooked it up to the setup I pressed the power button and the pc turned on for a split sec and then turned off, just to turn on again 3 secs later. Oh and this keeped on happening till i turned it off via the lil switch on the back of the PSU.
Any advice?

What do you mean by "to hook it up to my main setup"...?

Make sure you double check all connections and that everything is seated properly.

It it will be very helpful if you share your system components (with model #s).

1. Reseat all the power supply cables and connections on both ends if the PSU is modular.
2. Run out to a local pc hardware store and purchase a power supply for testing.
You can make use of the return policy when finished with testing.
