So today, i upgraded my CPU, i bought an i5-2400 intel CPU. I have a 500w PSU and a gtx 550ti and 2x4 GB of hyperx ram, and one HDD. My pc doesn't start if i have both RAM inserted, I've tried switching those two with other two but it's the same, it only works if there's only one inserted. I assume that my PSU is insufficient? Even though i was told and from what i read online that 500w is enough for even better setups. If anyone has an answer to this, i'd appreciate if you could share it with me. Thank you in advance.

Solution
Have you tried clearing the CMOS (unplug ten power cord and remove the CMOS battery for a minute)?
If still no go, try unscrewing a bit the CPU cooler.
If same, it might be a faulty CPU.

I have tried with three different RAMs it only works if a single one is in. I dont even get to BIOS if i have two RAMs in their slots, fans spin the led on motherboard is light up but it isn't booting just black screen. And yes each of them works individually.

Oh my bad. I've tried putting each one individually into each slot, it works.

I haven't tried clearing CMOS i shall. And what do you mean by unscrewing CPU cooler, to loosen it up a bit? What does CPU have to do with RAM, I am just asking so I know in the future?
