I have the following hardware configuration:

Asus Prime X-470-Pro Motherboard
AMD Ryzen 5-5600X CPU
AMD Radeon RX 6700XT 12 GB VRAM
16 GB DDR4 3200 RAM

Windows 10 Pro fully up to date
Latest AMD Video Drivers

The problem I'm having is when starting and trying to play newer video games....Stalker 2 an d Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, the game freezes momentarily and makes a buzzing sound through my speakers. I only have been experiencing this with newer games and don't have this problem outside of games when using other programs or browsing the Web. If I had to guess, I'd say the problem is with my video card.

I would appreciate help trying to figure out what is causing this.

My power supply is probably 6 to 7 years old. I've upgraded this system with a new cpu from 2600X to the 5600X and changed out the video card from RX580 8GB card to the RX 6700XT 12 GB card in June 2023.

So you think my power supply might be the problem and not the video card. Since I have had no problems with other programs and browsing, I didn't think the video card was the problem but wasn't sure.

Yes, this very well could be a PSU issue, as prevously noted.

What is the make/model of yours? The info is on a label on the side of the device.

At this point I think I'm going to order a new power supply and install it. I built this system 6 to 7 years ago so regardless of what I've had, it probably could be the problem. I'll order a new power supply today, install it, and then see if that fixes the problem and report it back to you. Thank you for your input.
