Hey, just ordered alle my PC parts, and only now realize that the power supply doesn't have a switch on the back.

Is that normal? So I just have to rip the chord out every time I want to tinker with the build?

If I take the cable out, will there be any stored power in the power supply that powers the motherboard, which will potentially damage parts if I remove them?

Should I always rwmove the 24 pin connector before doing any changes in the PC?

Solution
The hexa+ is actually kind of OK, mediocre but useable.
You would however have been way better with a cx450 for €6 more though.

Pulling the cable has the same effect switching off via physical switch.

On a different note, you are aware the 1600x doesn't come with a cooler?

Your post is very vague but I'm assuming that you have a PSU that isn't meant to be used with newer hardware.

List your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

And notably the age of the PSU that you're talking about.

Yes, I ordered s cooler toi. Thanks for asking though. This is my first build, so I'm very nervous

Ye I kind of just went in price, and saw that this PSU was in the same price range as others, so I got this. In hindsight I think I should of got some other one though, heh
