Power Supply for MSI OC extreme edition 660ti

These are my specs:-

Processor :- I7 4770k
Motherboard :- ASUS H87ME
RAM: - 8 gb corsair vengeance
Hard drive:- EVO 250 GB SSD hard drive and WD 1 tb
Cooler:- Antec
Graphic Card :- MSI OC Extreme edition 660 TI SLI (On the cover it says it needs only 450 W)
Power Supply :- 650 W Corsair

Sometimes when Im playing games the computer restarts and it gives the ASUS anti surge message about power supply unit is faulty or something like that. The tech guy is saying that it needs at atleast 750W for this setup which is why this happens. Is this true or is he trying to rip me off?

If the cover said only 450w thats is how much you need for the card (card only) but think about your motherboard, ssd hard drive, cpu etc. for SLI you should have atleast 700w.

thanks bro. i have asked him to try it out with 750W. we will see how it goes.
